My mission is to offer genuine customer service and deliver fast turnaround times on repairs and upgrades.


Costs & Payment

  • The minimum service call cost is $90, which includes the first hour (or less). 20-minute increments charged at $30 apply thereafter.
  • Service calls are capped at 3 hours, even if more time is required. Servicing more than one computer will incur further charges.
  • Customers residing more than 30 minutes driving distance away from my location will incur an extra $30 travel fee added on top of the service call costs.
  • Any car parking or road toll costs will be added on top of the service call costs.
  • Remote Desktop Support computer services using Team Viewer will be charged at $30 in 20-minute increments. Not all computer repairs can be performed using Team Viewer and will require a computer technician to be present on-site.
  • All prices include the Goods and Services Tax (GST) charged at 10%. Prices may change without notice.
  • Payment is to be made on completion of the service call and can be made with either Cash, Cheque or Direct Deposit. Direct deposits must be received within 7 days after the invoice date. EFTPOS not available. Cheques payable to Kristian's Komputers.

 

General

  • Customers must NOT arrive on premise unannounced under any circumstances. An appointment must be made prior to dropping off a computer or for any other reason. Computers dropped off unattended is NOT the responsibility of Kristian's Komputers.
  • All quotes are produced free of charge and are valid for only 7 days after the quote date.
  • All parts, labour and delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Ordering a new computer requires a 75% deposit of the total quoted amount to cover parts and delivery costs. Funds must be cleared into my bank account before work will commence. The remaining amount is payable in full once the job is complete.
  • The title of goods does not pass to the customer until the invoice amount is paid in full.
  • Keep all your invoice(s), paperwork and manufacturers packaging for all warranty and tax purposes.
  • My minimum service call fee will be charged for any callout that is NOT related to faulty hardware which is still under warranty.
  • All product names, brands and logos are trademarks of their respective companies.
  • Any data lost due to hardware failure is NOT the responsibility of Kristian's Komputers. Back up your data regularly.

 

Warranty

  • All hardware components and software supplied by Kristian's Komputers is covered by Manufacturers Standard Warranty periods.
  • Kristian's Komputers provides a 1-year return-to-base warranty on labour for all custom-built desktop computers.
  • All warranty periods begin from the date of purchase as printed on the invoice.
  • Software problems are NOT covered by warranty and must be referred to the software manufacturer.
  • Removal of any labels from any item, tampering or physical damage caused by the customer is NOT covered by warranty.
  • Any hardware damage caused by an electrical power surge is NOT covered by warranty. Contact your insurance company and electricity providers for help about this situation.

 

Privacy

  • All data located on the customer's computer is not accessed, viewed or used in any way.
  • All personal information collected about the customer is used for contact purposes only.
